Moyra Stewart has been teaching children and adults for 16 years.  With long and diverse experience in her own practice as a potter, she is able to give an excellent grounding in technique while allowing students to explore their own ideas and creativity, with the satisfaction of having a useful and durable product to show for their endeavours.

Adult Classes Wednesday Evenings 7.00pm - 9.00 pm

10 sessions £50. Materials cost £1 per pound of finished products.

Fees for adult classes must be paid in full at the beginning of the session.

Children's Classes Wednesday
4.00pm - 5.15 pm

10 sessions £30 or £4 per session. All materials included.

Research shows that involvement in arts education has a beneficial effect on a child's wellbeing and success both at school and in general daily life.

In a Pottery class children can explore their own creativity, make decisions and build their self-confidence in a non-judgmental environment.  These classes, though small and informal, give proper attention to formal technique, both in handwork and on the wheel. Creativity and individual decision making are encouraged and expected.
